Optical method in diagnostic of transient dynamic responses in human skull
Dvořáková, Pavla ; Trnka, Jan ; Veselý, Jan
The paper deals with the study of stress wave propagation in a human skull. Impact was generated both focused ruby laser beam and exploding wires. Transient dynamic responses were studied by means of double pulse holointerferometry and laser interferometry. in the research was paid attention to the evaluation of stress wave propagation velocity and tha result of both optical methods were compared. The study assists in the design of useful medical solutions.
Dynamic responses of plate and shell structures studied by nondestructive testing methods
Trnka, Jan ; Landa, Michal ; Dvořáková, Pavla
The advanced non-destructive testing of shell structures is conditioned to characterisation of guided waves propagating in a thin-wall solid. is very important from this point of view to know the response of these elements on different type of a loading. therefore the new powerful diagnostic methods are continouslz developed.
Evalution of anisotropic elastic properties by ultrasonic methods
Landa, Michal ; Plešek, Jiří ; Urbánek, Přemysl ; Novák, V.
Among the fundamental characteristical of solids are their elastic constants. As derivatives of the free energy, elastic constants are closely connected to thermodynamic properties of material. Extensive quantitative connection among thermodynamic properties can be made if the elastic constant are knownas function of temperatureand pressure.
Investigation of Reynolds Stress in Fluid Flow
Adamec, J. ; Nožička, J. ; Kořenář, Josef
In the case of pulsatile flow we are dealing with a complicated task taking in account a non-stationary characters of the process. The change of flow characteristics is of fundamental importance for the solution of many technical problems. The investigation of pulsatile Newtoninan fluid flow in circular rigid pipes is presented in the paper.
